Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Gets New Director

It’s being reported the sequel to the recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie will be getting a different director with David Green, who is known for Earth To Echo.

Jonathan Liebesman directed the first TMNT movie, which netted $478 million worldwide, but Variety is reporting Paramount apparently wants to take a different approach to TMNT 2.

It’s noted Liebesman is also directing the 10-part Shannara TV series for MTV, so his availability was questionable to begin with.

Michael Bay is back as producer along with Brad Fuller and Andrew Form; Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec are writing the script.

Megan Fox and Will Arnett are expected to reprise their roles.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles  2 has a June 3, 2016 release.
