Kinnaman’s Rick Flag apparently has some sort of grappling gun as we see him point in air and then fly up. We also see him (or a stuntman) dangling in the air.

We also see a behind shot of Harley Quinn where it looks as if her jacket reads “Propery of Joker.”

Comic-Con: First Look At Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Kurse From Thor 2

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:9648:]]

While it’s not footage from the movie, we get a good look at what the character of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will look like in the movie with the Kurse action figure.

Hasbro revealed their Thor 2 action figure line and among them is a first look at Kurse.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje transforms from Elgrim The Strong to Kurse in the movie and previously said he really mixes it up with Thor.

“It’s an amalgamation of a bull and a lava-like creature,” Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje said back in February. “He has very animalistic tendencies but with this insatiable and unstoppable power. As an actor, that’s one of the hardest things to embody. You have to realize you are probably the most powerful thing you could imagine. And you have to be that. You can’t pretend, so that when you face Thor, it’s real.”

Morris Chestnut Eyeing Black Panther Movie?

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:6693:]]

We may have another actor eyeing a potential Black Panther movie as Morris Chestnut posted something rather interesting on his social media accounts.

Previously, we heard from Thor 2 actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who said that he would like to play Black Panther, and also said he was in talks to play another Marvel Studios character.

Now, Morris Chestnut looks to be in the mix of things as he appears to be studying up on Black Panther.

The actor posted an image of a Black Panther comic book with the following text.

It’s time to get familiar with the Black Panther character!

Chesnut could very well be auditioning for the part or maybe just wants to do some extra reading.

Morris Chestnut also has a role in the upcoming comic book movie, Kick-Ass 2.

Thor 2: Spoiler Specific Details For Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Now Online

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5436:]]Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will be playing the dual role of Algrim The Strong and Kurse in Thor 2, “The Dark World.”

We previously heard from the actor some spoilers revolving other members of the cast with Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor and Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki.

Now we get some spoiler specific details about the backstory surrounding Algrim and Kurse for Thor 2.

The HeroComplex interviewed Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and included the following:

Algrim the Strong stands as the most powerful warrior among the title’s fictional race of Dark Elves. He’s compelled to fight Thor (portrayed by Australian hunk Chris Hemsworth in the films) by Elf overlord Malekith, who double-crosses Algrim, resulting in a life-threatening plunge into astro-lava.

However, Algrim survives – albeit wiped of his memory and transformed into a rampaging lava creature possessed of nearly infinite power — and sets out to exact revenge on Thor.

We see this differs in the comics in that it was the Beyonder who created Kurse, with Kurse first attacking the last of the Korbinites, Beta Ray Bill. Probably safe to assume we can now rule out both.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje went on to give some tidbits about Kurse as well.

It’s an amalgamation of a bull and a lava-like creature. He has very animalistic tendencies but with this insatiable and unstoppable power. As an actor, that’s one of the hardest things to embody. You have to realize you are probably the most powerful thing you could imagine. And you have to be that. You can’t pretend, so that when you face Thor, it’s real.

We also just got a batch of Thor 2 spoilers that involved Asgard, the timeline of the movie and on the plot.

Thor 2’s Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Wants The Black Panther Movie

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5056:]]We just heard from Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays the dual characters Elgrim The Strong and Kurse, in Thor 2, “The Dark World,” letting loose a lot of details as well as perhaps some spoilers about his character and others in the movie.

And as we previously heard, he might be in talks to be featured in another Marvel Studios movie, with the Guardians of the Galaxy previously mentioned (most likely Drax).

Now, MTV News caught up with the actor and asked him about just that, having a featured role in another movie, with this time, the Black Panther movie being brought up.

“Who do I want to play him? Myself, let’s be real. I would hope that playing Kurse would ingratiate me to becoming the Panther. You get in and have success in one, and you go and do the next one. [My campaign] is definitely not dropped,” he told MTV.

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5057:]]

“He’s one of my faves. I would love to play him. You have to keep at it, you have to keep your card in the hat and see what comes out but I have to say I’m thrilled, I’ve been able to play two characters in one movie and if [Marvel] likes this and it this does well, it just gives you a better chance,” he said.

Major Loki Spoilers Revealed In Thor 2 By Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje & Kurse

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5022:]]We recently found out that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will be playing both Elgrim the Strong and Kurse in Thor 2, “The Dark World,” which could suggest a whole host of possibilities.

Now we hear that those might not be his only roles in the Marvel Studios universe, as he talks with MTV and confirms the two characters again, but this time also mentions that he is in talks to play another Marvel Studios character.

But before we get to that, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje lets loose a bunch of in-depth details on Kurse as well as – possibly – spoiling Loki’s role in the movie.

Spoilers ahead.

Kurse is the one where I do all the fighting. It’s 40lbs of extra weight, and the good thing about it, is it’s very flexible and elastic,” he tells MTV about the prosthetics. “Me and Chris [Hemsworth], we would go toe-to-toe. It was hard core.”

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5023:]]“Chris is with his hammer; Kurse is like very animalistic,” he continued. “He’s got these horns, so what I did is, I tried to go with that flow, so my movements were very much like an animal. You had to contort your body, because I got these big horns on my head, a lot of twisting, very very different style than Chris’, and he [Kurse] is meant to be extremely powerful so nothing could stop him. It was a great ride. How cool is that.”

Next we hear about a major possible spoiler about Loki’s character, in that this time around he could be a good guy as Loki is set to battle Kurse as well, which could mean Loki and his brother Thor teaming up against Malekith the Accursed.

“There’s fights going [on]. He [Loki] gets his fair [share], and me and him as well,” the actor tell MTV’s in response to a question about Tom Hiddleston’s Loki in battle. “The great thing about Kurse is, he is having it with everybody. But no, Loki has some amazing fights in there. They are really going to be happy with this. Everybody gets their little shine and I won’t really tell you what happens, but there are some great surprises.”

Regarding the other character he might be playing, MTV brings up Drax from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje playing coy.

“Funny you say that, as we speak, we’re talking about that,” he said.

When asked specifically about the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, Akinnuoye-Agbaje responded back, “I’m not talking about anything yet. I’m just talking about having a really good relationship with Marvel.”

Thor 2: Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Confirmed As Both Kurse & Algrim the Strong

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:2654:]]I’m not exactly sure if this has been confirmed, but it is now.

We’ve heard in Thor 2: “The Dark World,” that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost) will be playing Kurse in the movie.

Kurse is originally a Dark Elf that gets transformed into something much more powerful –  as much as two times stronger than Thor – and is unleashed upon the god of Thunder.

However, previous to him becoming Kurse, in the comic books he is the strongest of the Dark Elves known as Algrim The Strong.

Now we have confirmation that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will be playing both the characters.

HitFix received an e-mail request for an interview with the actor, with the information included that he will be playing both characters in Thor 2.

As we previously put forth back in August, HitFix also put it forth that it might signal a possible appearance by the Beyonder, as in the comic books the Beyonder is responsible for transforming Algrim the Strong into Kurse and setting Kurse upon Thor.

The Beyonder could actually work in the movie as it’s been said that he’s a living Cosmic Cube, and of course we know that the Cube has been featured heavily in the Marvel Studios Phase One Movies.

Another interesting aspect of the Kurse role is that in the comic books when Kurse was set to take on Thor — he first encountered none other than Beta Ray Bill.

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:4992:]]Of course, Alan Taylor might be skipping all the Beyonder stuff, and instead, use the fire demon Surtur (thought to have been seen in set pics; see left) as the being behind the transformation of Algrim the Strong to Kurse.

What exact role Kurse plays in Thor 2 remains to be seen.
