Matt Damon’s next movie sees him battling monsters in The Great Wall.

The Great Wall has a February 17, 2017 release directed by Yimou Zhang also starring Willem Dafoe, Pedro Pascal, Jing Tian, Hanyu Zhang, Eddie Peng, Lu Han, Kenny Lin, Junkai Wang, Zheng Kai, Cheney Chen, Xuan Huang, and Andy Lau.
Starring global superstar Matt Damon and directed by one of the most breathtaking visual stylists of our time, Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of Flying Daggers), Legendary’s The Great Wall tells the story of an elite force making a valiant stand for humanity on the world’s most iconic structure. The first English-language production for Yimou is the largest film ever shot entirely in China. The Great Wall also stars Jing Tian, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe and Andy Lau.

Henry Cavill was in attendance with new Superman director Zack Snyder and wife Deborah Snyder, also pictured below.
Christopher Meloni, who plays Colonel Hardy in the Man of Steel, was there as well.
Within the last year or so we’ve seen Henry Cavill’s hair style change from his Superman look to even a buzz cut, and now this.
The Arthritis Foundation was offering the Man of Steel Experience with the highest bidder winning lunch with Zack Snyder, tickets to the LA Man of Steel premiere, a meet-and-greet with Henry Cavill, and more.
Perhaps Henry’s new look is for his upcoming movie The Great Wall, which is said to be a mystery centered around the construction of the Great Wall of China. The film also starts Benjamin Walker (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) and is written by Legendary Entertainment’s Thomas Tull and the writer of World War Z, Max Brooks.
Henry Cavill can next be seen on the big screen when he takes to the skies June 14th, 2013 as Superman in the Man of Steel.

Varitey reports that Henry Cavill, the new Superman, is in negotiations to star in Legendary East’s “The Great Wall.”
With the Man of Steel currently finishing up with filming, Cavill is now eyeing other projects.
“The Great Wall” is said to center around the the mystery behind how China’s Great Wall was constructed, and will be directed by Edward Zwick (The Last Samurai), with a script from Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz.
Cavill recently starred in Immortals as well as the upcoming The Cold Light Of Day along side Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver.
Man Of Steel flies into theaters June 14th, 2013 directed by Zack Snyder starring, Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, Diane Lane as Martha “Ma” Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonathan “Pa” Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as Zod, and Russel Crowe as Jor-El.
