Jai Courtney Rumored For Deadshot In Suicide Squad Movie


It’s being said that Jai Courtney is up for a major role in the Suicide Squad movie.

Variety is reporting sources have filled them in that Jai Courtney, starring in the upcoming Terminator Genisys movie as well as known for Divergent and Jack Reacher, is being looked at to play Deadshot.

The report also mentions that Tom Hardy is up for the role of Rick Flag, who was a founding member of Suicide Squad in the comics.

It’s also said Will Smith might be up for the role of Captain Boomerang, with it again said Margot Robbie may be playing Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker.

Jesse Eisenberg is also rumored to be featured as Lex Luthor in Suicide Squad, and Jon Bernthal may have a role.

To date, WB has yet to officially announce any of the casting.

David Ayer is writing and directing the Suicide Squad movie, which is set to be released in 2016.


Margot Robbie Said To Be Harley Quinn In Suicide Squad


It’s being said that Margot Robbie has been cast as Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad movie.

The info comes from the Collider, who also previously said Matthew Vaughn was directing Star Wars: Episode VII and that Joaquin Phoenix was playing Doctor Strange; so bear that in mind.

Relatively unknown actress, Cara Delevingne, has also been said to be up for the role of Harley Quinn in the film.

To date, there has been a lot of casting rumors, but nothing official.

Rumors include Jared Leto playing the Joker, Jon Bernthal having a role, Jesse Eisenberg being featured as Lex Luthor, and Tom Hardy, Will Smith and even Ryan Gosling up for roles.

Suicide Squad has a 2016 release date directed by David Ayer.



Suicide Squad: Will Smith, Tom Hardy & Margot Robbie Said Close To Signing

Yesterday saw big news regarding WB’s slate of Justice League movies, which includes a Suicide Squad film set for a 2016 release with David Ayer attached to direct.

Shortly after the news was officially announced, a report surfaced that stated Will Smith, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie were up for roles in addition to Ryan Gosling.

Now Deadline has a report of their own stating that Margot Robbie is looking like a done deal as she apparently has turned down a role in Ghost In The Shell for the Suicide Squad movie.

The report also mentions that both Will Smith and Tom Hardy are circling Suicide Squad and are close to signing.

Regarding Ryan Gosling, the initial report stated he may hesitant to do a big superhero role, though it was also mentioned Gosling had talks with Marvel Studios for Doctor Strange.

With Warner Bros. announcing their slate of Justice League movies earlier today, the flood gates are now open as the rumors are flying.

In addition to the earlier Aquaman rumors, now it’s being stated that A-list actors are up for possible C-list roles in the Suicide Squad movie.

According to THR, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Tom Hardy and Ryan Gosling are being eyed for roles in Suicide Squad, which sees a group of DC villains coerced into working for the opposite side of the law.

According to the report, the Suicide Squad movie is in early development with the script currently being worked on that will feature A-list actors as a group of “colorful” anti-heroes.

It was also previously rumored that the Suicide Squad movie would feature virtual no-namers: Blockbuster, Multiplex, Jaculi, MindbogglerHarknessVixen and Deadshot.

Suicide Squad has a 2016 release directed by David Ayer.

We get a first look at Margot Robbie as Jane Porter in David Yates’ upcoming Tarzan.

Margot Robbie is known for playing Naomi in the Wolf of Wall Street.

Tarzan has a July 1, 2016 release also starring Alexander Skarsgård as Tarzan, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, Casper Crump and Djimon Hounsou.

Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, and Christoph Waltz are starring under the direction of David Yates, with Jerry Weintraub producing.


BURBANK, CA – February 11, 2014 – Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that the Studio has entered into pre-production on a new live-action 3D Tarzan action adventure, bringing Edgar Rice Burroughs’ legendary character back to the big screen. The announcement was made today by Greg Silverman, President, Creative Development and Worldwide Production, and Sue Kroll, President, Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.  

Dan Fellman, President, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures, also announced that the film has been slated to open domestically on July 1, 2016.  

Alexander Skarsgård (HBO’s “True Blood”) has been set to star as the man who was orphaned as a baby and raised in the jungle, later to return to the urban jungle of London.  The film also stars Oscar® nominee Samuel L. Jackson (“Pulp Fiction”); Margot Robbie (“The Wolf of Wall Street”), as Jane Porter, who becomes the love of Tarzan’s life; and two-time Academy Award® winner Christoph Waltz (“Inglourious Basterds,” “Django Unchained”). 

David Yates, who helmed the last four “Harry Potter” blockbusters, will direct the new feature from a screenplay based on the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs.  A Jerry Weintraub production, the film is being produced by Weintraub (“Behind the Candelabra,” the “Ocean’s” trilogy), together with David Barron and Alan Riche.

In making the announcement, Silverman said, “We have assembled a phenomenal international cast to tell this extraordinary story.  Warner Bros. has also enjoyed long and successful collaborations with both David Yates and Jerry Weintraub, and we look forward to seeing what they and the entire team have in store for this timeless tale.”

Kroll added, “Tarzan has been an enduring and enigmatic figure in literature and cinema for more than a century.  The adventures of a man who was torn between two worlds has entertained and intrigued people young and old, and we are excited to bring him to the screen for a new generation.”

Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke & Tom Hardy Eyed For Terminator 4


Some possible new details become known surrounding the next Terminator movie with mention of actresses and actors attached to the lead roles.

Described as a young Sarah Connor, the actresses said to be in contention include Game Of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke, Brie Larson and Margot Robbie.

Garrett Hedlund as been named in association with a young Kyle Reese with Boyd Holbrook popping up as well.

Tom Hardy is said to be on Alan Tayor’s wishlist to play John Connor.

Arnold Schwarzegger has been once again said to be returning with The Hollywood Reporter mentioning he will be back as the Terminator in a time-spanning story that sees him as a good guy protecting a young Sarah Conner as she grows up.

The new Terminator has a July 1, 2015 release date.


Kit Harington, Saoirse Ronan & More Rumored For Fantastic Four Reboot

A list of names has surfaced regarding potential roles for Mr. Fantastic Reed Richards and Invisible Woman Sue Storm for the Josh Trank Fantastic Four reboot from Fox Studios.

Variety has it that up for Mr. Fantastic is the previously rumored 21 & Over and Project X actor, Miles Teller. Also on the list is Kit Harington of Game of Thrones fame, and Jack O’Connell from 300: Rise Of An Empire.

Up for Invisible Woman is Saoirse Ronan, once rumored for The Avengers 2, who also auditioned for Star Wars: Episode VII. Kate Mara (American Horror Story) is on the list, who was once eyed to play Catwoman for Christopher Nolan in The Dark Knight Rises. Margot Robbie is the last name featured, with the actress known for Neighbours.

Michael B. Jordan also once again gets a mention as the only name for Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch, with no names for Ben Grimm aka The Thing as of yet.

Filming on Fantastic Four was previously said to have started last month, which obviously didn’t happen. Most recently Simon Kinberg was announced to be coming on board to do major rewrites.

Fantastic Four has a March 6, 2015 release.
