Josh Holloway Wants To Play Han Solo
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:21311:]]
With a Han Solo movie in development, Josh Holloway let’s it be known he would love to play the character.
Yahoo spoke with Holloway, who happens to be a big Han Solo fan with even his Lost character having dropped Solo-esque wisecrack remarks.
“Damn. I’d love to do it. I love Han Solo,” Holloway said. “They’d never ask me, but I’d love to be Han Solo.
“You know, I got to arrest Han Solo in a movie once,” Holloway said, referencing 2013’s Paranoia. “I grabbed him, pulled his hands behind his back, cuffed him. He turned around and said to me, ‘You’re losing it, boy.’ Then I stuffed him in a car. But that might be as close as I get to Han Solo.”
The Star Wars Han Solo movie has a May 25, 2018 release directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, executive produced by Lawrence Kasdan and Jason McGatlin and co-produced by Will Allegra, with a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan.
Josh Holloway Says Playing Aquaman Would Be Cool
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:13289:]]
Josh Holloway comments on the Aquaman rumors for the first time.
Holloway was previously rumored for Aquaman, and we’ve been told he is up for the role as well.
We’ve also been told the end to Batman Vs. Superman is supposed to feature the Justice League heroes in an epic battle.
Speaking with IGN, Holloway offers that it would be cool to do the role, but offers he is not sure if he would be able to due to his new TV series, Intelligence, as the role would require multiple movies.
“It hasn’t been brought to my attention by my people. So maybe they’re just floating it softly around, but that would be cool! Sure, I think I’m available at the moment as we just wrapped up. I’m an actor, I like different roles. Batman movies are awesome, Marvel movies are awesome. But we’ll see, I’m on a series right now. I think they usually want to sign you up for several movies and I don’t know if you can do that when you’re committed to a series…”

Exclusive: Batman Vs. Superman Delayed Because Of Justice League; Updates On Momoa, Holloway & Luthor
Yesterday saw the news announced regarding the new release date for Batman Vs. Superman with May 6, 2016.
I contacted my trusted source at Warner Bros. for some information.
If you recall, the source first provided Cosmic Book News the information that Batman Vs. Superman will feature the Justice League back in mid-December, which was recently confirmed by Latino Review. It is the same source that provided us with the Bryan Cranston casting and Cranston’s subsequent change of mind.
I’m told the reason for the Batman Vs. Superman delay is because of the Justice League and not because of the reported injury to Ben Affleck. The injury to Affleck isn’t so bad that they would have to delay the movie to 2016. The reason they are taking the extra time is – as we previously told you – the final 15-20 minutes of Batman Vs. Superman is set to have every major hero, and they are STILL in the casting process and need time for that as well.
Every casting decision is considered major as the person chosen will be that character for multiple movies/appearances.
The source also said that Jason Momoa will not be Aquaman, but is a contender for Martian Manhunter. You will note that Jason Momoa is said to still be in negotiations by The Hollywood Reporter in their own report of the Batman Vs. Superman release delay.
Regarding Aquaman, Comic Book Movie has it correct that Josh Holloway is the current favorite for the role.
We’re also told casting for Lex Luthor is still up in the air.

Now Aquaman Rumored For Batman Vs. Superman With Josh Holloway
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:13116:]]
We already have Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman with The Flash and Martian Manhunter rumored, why not Aquaman?
The latest rumor to surface regarding Batman Vs. Superman is that Aquaman could be featured in the movie with Josh Holloway playing the role.
Cinema Blend speculates that Josh Holloway could be Aquaman in the movie.
In what could actually be the Justice League movie, as fans online and even producers are speculating that is the actual title of the “Batman Vs. Superman” movie, Warner Bros. could be diving in head first going the opposite root of Marvel Studios.
Maybe our info that the finale to Batman Vs. Superman will feature the Justice League against the JL movie villain isn’t too far off?
We’re definitely biting our nails in anticipation.
“Batman Vs. Superman” has a July 17, 2015 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.
