Interstellar & Godzilla (2014) Trailer Said To Be Attached To The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:12112:]]

Some fans online were expecting the Godzilla trailer to hit tonight due to an early tweet mentioning November 3rd.

While Warner Bros. did show Godzilla footage this weekend at a convention in Italy, it was just previously seen footage.

Now a new tweet surfaces that says the Godzilla trailer will be attached to the December 13th release of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which happens to be another Warner Bros. film.

Obviously the tweet is unsubstianted, but without much promotion coming out of Warner Bros./Legendary for Godzilla fans will take what they can get.

Same Twitter account also says Chrisopher Nolan’s Interstellar trailer is attached to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Update: We’ve reached out to Warner Bros. for a confirmation. We’ll update when we know more.

Godzilla opens May 16, 2014 in 3D starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham.

Synopsis:

An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar Said To Involve Crashed Spaceships In Iceland

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:10894:]]

Christopher Nolan continues filming his epic science-fiction movie, Interstellar, in Iceland where it’s being stated the use of spaceships and drones are a part of the movie.

DesdeHollywood has received word that Nolan’s scenes in Iceland have to do with apparently a downed spaceship, a mothership and some drones.

It’s speculated the crashed spaceship could be the travellers as they go through the worm hole searching for whatever they are searching for

Obviously, the mothership could be where they launched from, and the drones what they use to perform the actual search.

What they are exactly searching for appears to be a place where they can grow crops to ensure the continuation of humanity.

While there has been no mention of aliens (unless that’s the humans) visitors from another planet or dimension definitely can’t be ruled out.

Interstellar has a November 7, 2014 release with an all-star cast consisting of the recently added Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck, David Gyasi, Wes Bentley, Mackenzie Foy, Timothée Chalamet, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo, Ellen Burstyn and Michael Caine

WB Gives Up Rights To Friday The 13th & South Park For Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:8383:]]We already know that Paramount and Warner Bros. are teaming up for Christopher Nolan‘s next epic sci-fi movie, Interstellar, but now we learn more about the details surrounding the agreement.

THR has it that Warner Bros. gave up rights to Friday the 13th and South Park in order to be on board Interstellar.

The original Friday the 13th saw both studios involved as Paramount had domestic distribution rights and WB the international rights.

Eventually, the rights went back to Sean Cunningham, the creator, who went on to New Line Cinema.

Well, New Line was eventually brought into WB’s fold, but Paramount would have to be brought back on any Friday the 13th movie in a 50-50 capacity due to previous agreements.

So WB gave Paramount its own rights to co-finance Friday the 13th in exchange for being a part of Nolan’s Interstellar.

That’s not all, though, as WB also gave Paramount its share of certain rights to a South Park movie; back in 1999, WB distributed South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut internationally.

There is also one last catch.

Also part of the deal was an agreement to let Paramount co-finance a to-be-determined A-list Warners property.

Regarding the next Friday The 13th movie, as Paramount only has 5 years to make one before the rights revert, more than likely we’ll be hearing about news for the next one soon.

The last rebooted Friday The 13th from 2009, produced by Michael Bay, raked in over $90 million on a budget of less than $20 million.

Any chance one of the A-List WB properties Paramount could be attached to is one of the DC Comics movie properties? Justice League?

Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar Plot Leaks From First Draft Of Script

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:8280:]]

Christopher Nolan‘s big budget epic sci-fi movie due out in 2014, Interstellar, has been shrouded in mystery except for a bare bones plot description and casting announcement.

Now we learn at least potential details for Interstellar from an earlier draft of the script that was penned by Christopher Nolan’s brother, Jonathan.

As it is technically an older script the details might not hold much weight, but more than likely some of it still sticks.

AICN read an early script and offered the following about Interstellar:

• Interstellar is said to be set in the future where governments and economies across the globe have collapsed, food is scare, and NASA is no more, with it said the 20th Century is to blame.

• It’s said that a mysterious rip in space and time opens, and it’s up to whatever is left of NASA to explore and offer up hope and salvation for mankind.

• It’s also said to be a lot more complicated than that, but further details are not being released.

Interstellar has a November 7, 2014 release starring Matthew McConaughey as the film’s lead, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine and Jessica Chastain.
