Tatsu Toro’s idyllic, but brief marriage came to a sudden end in a single, tragic night. Her husband, Maseo, and his twin brother, Takeo, were both members of the Sword Clan, one of the clans in the Yakuza criminal organization.

This ancient katana, one of the clan’s relics, was said to contain the souls of those it killed among other mystical qualities. Tatsu witnessed her husband’s murder and collapsed by his body, overcome with grief. Takeo fled into the night.

When Tatsu finally came to her senses, she took up the Soultaker and swore revenge against not just Takeo, but the Yakuza and criminals everywhere. She goes by the name Katana, in honor of the sword she wields and which she believes contains the soul of her beloved husband.

Infinite Crisis Swamp Thing Trailer

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18101:]]

Get an early look at Swamp Thing, the latest champion from Infinite Crisis – the free-to-play MOBA from Turbine based in the DC Universe! On Wednesday, December 17th, players can step into a new protector role when Swamp Thing goes live in the game!

A brilliant chemist, Alec Holland had long been developing “a bio-restorative formula” which promised to solve food shortages forever. Tragically, thugs hired by a rival who wanted to steal the formula triggered an explosion in Alec’s lab, destroying it and killing Alec. The explosion saturated nearby plants with the experimental formula giving birth to the Swamp Thing.

Possessing Alec’s memories, the Swamp Thing initially thought he was Alec reborn and cursed the monster he had now become. However, in time he learned the truth: He was actually one in a long line of elemental protectors summoned by the Parliament of Trees. This group of sentient plants protected the Green, the force that created and sustained plant life on Earth. Swamp Thing embraced his role as protector and, thanks to the memories he inherited from Alec, expanded his charge to the protection of all life on Earth.

Swamp Thing can endure tremendous damage and is capable of complete regeneration. He also has control over plant life, and can command it to do his bidding.

Infinite Crisis Starro Reveal Trailer

Get an inside look at Starro, the new champion from Infinite Crisis, the free-to-play MOBA from Turbine based in the DC Universe!

On Wednesday, November 5th, players can excel at pushing and controlling map lanes when this aggressive controller goes live!

Starro is a Star Conqueror. These nomadic and parasitic creatures roam the cosmos in two forms: motherstars and parasites. Motherstars are sentient, while parasites are extensions of the motherstar’s consciousness. A parasite attaches itself to other sentient creatures, allowing the motherstar to control that creature’s mind. Once controlled, the victims work toward growing more motherstars to go out and bring universal harmony to other planets—by conquering them.

Little did the Star Conqueror who came to be known as Starro know how difficult carrying that plan out on Earth would be!

Starro has little concern for what happens to the individuals it controls. They’re a tiny part of the whole. When Starro speaks to creatures it doesn’t control, it does so telepathically, urging them to join in universal harmony.

Players can sign-up for the beta today and immediately enter the Infinite Crisis battle arena.

Infinite Crisis Blue Beetle Trailer & Art

Get an early look at Blue Beetle in the latest Champion Profile video from Infinite Crisis, the free-to-play MOBA from Turbine based in the DC Universe! Then on Wednesday, April 30, players can use his assassin and marksman skills to injure enemies from afar and sprint for the kill, when Blue Beetle goes live in-game!

It revealed to Jamie that it was called Khaji-da and it was a living tool of conquest created by the Reach, an alien empire bent on conquest. Designed to control its host’s mind, Khaji-da intended for Jamie to be a tool of the Reach, paving the way for their invasion. However, the scarab was damaged, much to Jamie’s luck, and he retained free will. Now he struggles as Blue Beetle, misunderstood teenager and hero.
