Four actors are said to be finalists to play Doctor Doom in the Fantastic Four movie, and none are female.
A previous rumor surrounding Fantastic Four suggested that director Josh Trank might be going with a female version of the classic FF villain, but that appears not to be the case.
The Wrap reports Sam Riley, Eddie Redmayne, Toby Kebbell and Domhnall Gleeson are up for the role of Doctor Doom.
The report mentions that it’s unclear of the status of Jack Huston, who was previously said to be up for the role of Doom.
Sam Riley is known for the upcoming movie Maleficent; Eddie Redmayne had roles in Les Miserables and the upcoming Jupiter Ascending; Toby Kebbell is known for The Escape Artist TV series and has a role in the upcoming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes movie (also from Fox); Domhnall Gleeson played Bill Weasley in the Harry Potter movies.
Fantastic Four has a June 19, 2015 release starring Miles Teller as Reed Richards, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, Kata Mara as Sue Storm and Jamie Bell as Ben grimm.
MTV updated their list of guests and presenters for their Movie Awards and Henry Cavill is among them.
It’s not known which award Henry Cavill will be presenting, but maybe he will be bringing something super from the Man of Steel along with him.
A new viral marketing campaign for the Man of Steel just began yesterday, most likely related to trailer #3.
Maybe we’ll see it at the MTV Movie Awards?
In addition to Henry Cavill, below is a list of the other presenters.
Judging from the list, we could get further looks at World War Z, Kick-Ass 2 and/or Carrie, Star Trek, Fast and Furious 6 and/or Riddick, possibly Game of Thrones, and we also know a trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will debut with Liam Hemsworth showing that off.

Eddie Redmayne, who landed a role in Les Miserables, is numbered among the candidates to play that featured lead role.
Speaking with MTV, Redmayne stated he doesn’t like to listen to all of it, otherwise it would make him a bit batty.
“There’s noise with the internet of things that are true and not true,” he told MTV. “If I listen to all of it, I’d go slightly insane.”
When directly asked if he finds the Guardians of the Galaxy movie intriguing, Redmayne beats around the bush and doesn’t address the rumor.
“I’m not going to go there with those rumors,” he said.
MTV pressed on and asked if he would like to play a role in a comic book movie, with Redmayne stating he loves them.
“I love those films when they’re done well. I loved watching Andrew and Emma in ‘Spider-Man.’ I loved watching ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’ There seems to be an audience now needing satisfaction beyond spectacle. From an actor’s point of view, that makes it intriguing. I love going to see those films. I also like to shake it up — I just did a musical. I don’t like sitting in a box.”
Redmaybe was also said to be a contender for the role of Harry Osborn in the Amazing Spider-Man 2, which we now know went to Dane DeHaan of Chronicle fame.
The other seven actors up for Star-Lord are said to be Joel Edgerton (Warrior, Zero Dark Thirty), Boardwalk Empire‘s Jack Huston, Cloud Atlas‘ Jim Sturgess, Lee Pace (Lincoln, The Hobbit), Sullivan Stapleton (Animal Kingdom), Tron: The Legacy‘s Garrett Hedlund and X-Men‘s James Marsden.
The Guardians of the Galaxy movie has an August 1, 2014 release date.

About a week ago it came out that Marc Webb and Sony were looking for a dark and edgy Harry Osborn for Amazing Spider-Man 2, with three actors mentioned.
However, now it’s being said that Harry Osborn might be more of a jock, as the studio is apparently now looking for a Harry Osborn who is athletic and good-looking.
The latest names that are being thrown around for the “athletic and good-looking” Harry Osborn include: Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Snow White & the Huntsman); Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables); Douglas Booth (Noah); Boyd Holbrook (The Big C, Hatfields & McCoys, The Host).
While I don’t see why you can’t have all of the above, I think we get the comparison they are trying to get across, but here’s the pic that THR chose to run with their article, dark, edgy, athletic and good-looking?
