We get another new image from the upcoming Riddick movie and this time it’s Vin Diesel vs. Dave Bautista!
The previous Riddick image seemingly teased “King” Riddick.
WWE wrestler Dave Bautista plays Diaz a merc.
Riddick has a September 6, 2013 release directed by David Twohy and also stars Karl Urban and Katie Sackoff.
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:4903:]]Some rumors have hit the net this time about the character of Drax The Destroyer for the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
Three names have surfaced with Dave Bautista, of WWE fame, said to be in contention. Bautista has recently entered the Hollywood mix having landed roles in Riddick and The Man With Iron Fists.
The two other names listed are Isaiah Mustafa (Three Stooges, Gears of War, Charlie’s Angels), and Brian Patrick Wade, a celebrity trainer and also an actor.
It’s also said that three names are up for the character of Drax with John Krasinski (The Office) said to be up for Star-Lord, which would be the 11th name, I think, said to be up for the role.
Most recently Joseph Gordon-Levitt was said to be offered Star-Lord, with Smallville‘s Michael Rosenbaum reading for the part as well.
