Sydney Sweeney finally got a superhero suit worth looking at. She had to put it on herself.
The actress posted an Instagram carousel Saturday captioned “camp ’26,” and the lead slide is a mirror selfie of Sweeney in full Wonder Woman gear: the red-and-gold eagle bustier, star-spangled blue bottoms, the gold tiara with the red star, gold cuffs, and a silver chain hanging off her hip as the Lasso of Truth.
Next to her is boyfriend Scooter Braun in a Henry Cavill Man of Steel suit, cape included.
1.2 Million Likes In Nine Hours
The numbers did what Sweeney’s numbers do.
Nine hours in, the post was sitting at 1.2 million likes. For context, her SYRN reel last month pulled nearly 300,000 likes in its first 52 minutes, and this one is running on the same engine.

What ‘Camp ’26’ Actually Is
This is not a kids’ camp.
Sweeney runs a summer camp of her own for her friends at her lake house in Idaho, and it’s an annual thing: 2024’s edition went up as “all things camp,” complete with jet skis, outdoor karaoke, and Polaroids spread across a table.
This year added the costumes, an obstacle course, and, per one friend in the comments, Mamma Mia karaoke all night.

Braun, 45, is the music executive best known for managing Justin Bieber and for the Taylor Swift masters fight. The two were first linked last fall and went Instagram official in May after Stagecoach.
The Superhero Suits Sweeney Didn’t Get
Here is the thing about Sydney Sweeney and superhero costumes: the audience has wanted her in one for years, and the studios keep finding ways not to deliver.
Sony put her in Madame Web in 2024 as Julia Cornwall, a future Spider-Woman who spends the entire movie in street clothes. Her suit shows up in a flash-forward and that’s it. The movie bombed, and Dakota Johnson has spent the time since explaining it wasn’t her fault.
Then came Emma Frost.
A scooper post claiming Marvel wanted Sweeney as the White Queen cleared 2.2 million views and became the loudest thread in the entire X-Men rumor cycle.
The same scooper quietly softened it to “an X-Men role.” Then Marvel cast Samara Weaving, a name nobody in the rumor economy had, and made it official at D23 with X-Men dated for May 5, 2028.
One Marvel movie that wasted her. One Marvel rumor that went to somebody else. And now a Wonder Woman costume at the lake doing 1.2 million likes in under a day.
Where Wonder Woman Actually Stands At DC
The timing is the fun part, because Wonder Woman is in flux at Warner Bros. right now.
Under Gunn, the character gets a walk-on. Our insiders say Arjona’s Man of Tomorrow role is more of a cameo, she hadn’t filmed a frame as of Comic-Con three months into production, and Paradise Lost, the Themyscira series, is dead.
Under the incoming Paramount regime, it’s a different conversation.
As we exclusively reported Friday, our source said to keep an eye on Gal Gadot’s schedule, with Wonder Woman 3 possibly moving before Henry Cavill is free for his DC return as Superman.
