Superman: The Man of Steel (2013): New Set Image Near Edwards Air Force Base Revealed!

[page_title]

As many know, director Zack Snyder filmed the Man of Steel on location at Edwards Air Force Base, which came under heavy security.

As many may not know – he also filmed at an off base location! And that is what we have here with the following set image (below).

At least that is what I have been told.

It has also been said that Amy Adams (Lois Lane) and Antje Traue (Faora) were not at Edwards Air Force Base, and again, I’m told they were not on the Base set. They just filmed these scenes near Edwards, but not on the Base.

And I do have some info about that.

I don’t have the full rundown on the scene, so it could very well be true, but I was told the description is a bit — shall we say — exaggerated. One part that seems to be true is mention of a spaceship, or a Kryptonian ship. I heard that is definitely in the movie.

However, Nuke does state they didn’t want to exactly reveal the info they were given as to not give up the source (which they did on Twitter, anyway), and that the description is a “rough interpretation.” So I would assume there must be an inkling of truth in it at least, such as Zod could very well be meeting with the Military in some sort of exchange.

I do have a few more feelers out looking for info, but regarding the image, I was told it’s legit, the description: something of truth in there, and Adams and Traue were not present on the Base, which was previously reported.

While I seem to be playing a middleman here, of sorts, as least this is an independent confirmation that the image is real.

Update: Another image has surfaced of Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy and Richard Schiff as Dr. Emil Hamilton.
