Superman: The Man of Steel (2013): Jadin Gould Cast As Lana Lang

Similar to how we found out about Dylan Sprayberry being cast as a young Clark Kent, we now have word that Jadin Gould will be playing Lana Lang in the Man of Steel.

Gould’s IMDb listing has been updated with a credit for the new Zack Snyder-directed Superman reboot.

The young actress starred in Battle: Los Angeles as well as appearing in episodes of NBC’s Chuck.

Last April of 2011 we were tipped off to some early draft details for the Man of Steel. While initially it was stated that Snyder was looking at Lindsay Lohan to play Lana Lang, nothing much became of that.

However, what we were told is that Lana Lang is a popular girl, with Clark Kent having a crush on her, but Lana doesn’t give Clark the time of day as he’s a bit of a geek. During a bus crash, Clark is revealed to Lana to be the super man that he is when she witnesses his powers in use.

So far we’ve seen some images and details of a bus accident scene.
