Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Secrets Revealed

Disney and J.J. Abrams debuted the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer this weekend online and in movie theaters.

With the 40 million views the trailer received comes with it a lot of questions and speculation.

Now some of those questions are laid to rest as ABC’s Good Morning America ran a report revealing answers.

First, the voice in the trailer is revealed to be motion-capture expert Andy Serkis, who also has a role in the film. It’s definitely not Benedict Cumberbatch, as the actor recently stated he is not in the movie.

Another interesting revelation is that the lightsaber sound effect at the end of the trailer is Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber sound from Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.

Speaking of Luke Skywalker, the report featured footage of an event held in Texas, where one fans mentions it seems as if the mysterious individual wielding the new lightsaber has two different hands, leading to speculation it a may be Luke.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has a December 18, 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.
