Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Rumored For Every Movie Next Weekend

It’s being said that Disney will be playing the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer in front of every movie that plays next weekend at theaters.

A user on Reddit reportedly spoke to a movie chain that offered the news.

For next weekend only (not sure if it’s Fri/Sat/Sun or just Sat/Sun) a 90 second trailer for the new Star Wars will appear before every single showtime for every single movie at 100 theaters nationwide. I don’t know exactly which theaters (except for one). Word has it Disney told all theaters getting the trailer that Big Hero 6 had to be the earliest showtime for each day (assuming that the fans will all buy a ticket to the earliest showing possible).

The user goes on to state he/she heard about it from a manager.

I don’t want to get anyone in trouble if this is a secret but I heard this from the manager at one of the theaters getting the trailer.

And the user also added:

Not sure if you read the post but it’s being attached to every single screening for every movie those days. With the caveat that Big Hero 6 (a Disney movie) gets the earliest showtime so all the fanboys will by tickets to that to see it as soon as possible.

Came from the theaters. I would expect an official announcement sometime in the coming week.

A previous rumor stated that Disney was not going to debut the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer with The Hobbit, but planned something bigger.

Now if this rumor is true, it seems Disney is attaching the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer – first – to their Big Hero 6 movie (or whatever else plays as early as BH6), which of course would mean all the Star Wars fanboys would buy tickets for Big Hero 6 (even if they already watched it).

Guess we’ll find out soon enough.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has a December 18, 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.
