J.J. Abrams ordered the installation of 30 large shipping containers outside his primary shooting location, strung together like a Maginot Line against prying paparazzi.

Set images included a first look at Benedict Cumberbatch as the villain taking on Zachary Quinto as Spock and Zoe Saldana as Uhura. We’ve even seen images of Chris Pine (Kirk) and John Cho (Sulu).
The as-of-yet unnamed Star Trek sequel has a May 17th, 2013 release date in 3D, is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Chris Pine as Capt. James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Karl Urban as Leonard “Bones” McCoy, Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura, Simon Pegg as Scotty, Anton Yelchin as Pavel Chekov, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu and Benedict Cumberbatch as an unnamed villain..
