Star Trek Into Darkness Gets An Earlier Release Date & Tickets On Sale

Earlier saw the debut of the Star Trek Into Darkness Super Bowl trailer, but that’s not all.

Paramount also revealed, through their Star Trek Into Darkness App, that the movie will be premiering two days earlier than it’s May 17th release date.

Advance tickets for the new May 15th release date and 8pm start are now on sale via the App.

Just tap on the “Sweeps” mission and then on “Premiere Tix Sweeps” to access the advance ticket sales.

The App also includes a bunch of other missions where users can either scan certain images or listen to various sounds to unlock further content.

Star Trek Into Darkness has a May 17th, 2013 release date in 3D, is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Chris Pine as Capt. James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Karl Urban as Leonard “Bones” McCoy, Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura, Simon Pegg as Scotty, Anton Yelchin as Pavel Chekov, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu and Benedict Cumberbatch as an unnamed villain.

Synopsis:
