UPDATE 2: Episode two, “Billionaire Weenietown,” takes aim at the billionaires’ data centers.
UPDATE: These ratings are the proof Paramount Warner Bros. won’t be Trump TV.
The name change worked.
The Season 29 premiere of South Park, the first under the new South America banner, pulled in 4.2 million U.S. viewers across Comedy Central and Paramount+ in its first three days, Comedy Central announced Friday.
On Comedy Central, the premiere beat last season’s opener by 33% with adults 18-49.
It was also the biggest non-sports telecast on all of cable for the week with that audience.

Mocking The Boss Is Good Business
Trey Parker and Matt Stone renamed the show earlier this month in tribute to Apple and Google renaming the Gulf of Mexico, while giving special thanks to “our parent company Paramount,” which the new key art rebrands “A Skydance Capitulation.”
The premiere episode, “South American Biker Gangs,” put the boys on e-bikes and let them take over the streets of the newly renamed town.
Viewers ate it up. The episode racked up 11 million social views in three days and ranked as the most talked-about comedy on cable the day it aired.
The ratings win lands three weeks after the show took home its sixth Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program.
Two seasons of going after Trump and their own bosses, and the show only keeps getting bigger.

Next Episode Airs September 30
The next new episode of South America airs September 30 at 10pm ET/PT on Comedy Central.
Episodes then land October 14, October 28, November 11 and November 25.
Each one streams same day on Paramount+ in the UK, next day in the U.S., Canada and Australia, and Saturdays in all other markets where Paramount+ is available.
