Yesterday saw video of Seth Green discussing his views on how he feels Ben Affleck being the new Batman won’t work.

Seth Green told Larry King that basically Ben Affleck wouldn’t work as a veteran Batman meant to intimidate a younger Henry Cavill Superman.

Green also insinuated that Affleck wouldn’t be able to sell it, and that audiences wouldn’t buy it.

Now Green has taken to his Who Say account to back peddle a bit.

For the record, I actually think Ben Afleck is a great actor, fantastic writer & excellent director.

Seth Green included the following image as well:

When Ben Affleck was first cast as Batman, Warner Bros. warned the actor about the fan response and even suggested he stay offline. When Affleck did check the responses, one of the first comments he saw to himself being named as the new Batman was: “Nooooooo!” Affleck joked about the response on a talk show shortly after being cast.

Batman Vs Superman” has a newly announced May 6, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
