Check out the retailer variant cover to next week’s Amazing Spider-Man #666, a prelude to the “Spider-Island” Spider-Man event.

If a retailer orders enough, their comic shop gets to grace the cover. 

According to Bleeding Cool, where I grabbed this from, retailers needed to order 150% of their norm AND another 500 of this special variant!

Ca-Ching!

I know my LCS didn’t participate – he doesn’t even like paying the freight (18 bucks a pop) on all the “free” stuff the publishers send out, let alone the “free comics” for FCBD (plus freight)!

Doh!
