Sadie Sink is all grown up.
The Stranger Things alum — freshly unmasked as the MCU’s Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day — stars in Calvin Klein’s Fall 2026 “Feel the Fit” denim campaign, which launched Tuesday across the brand’s stores, website, social channels, and out-of-home placements.
And if a young genre star stripping down to sell jeans sounds like a familiar formula, it should: this is the Sydney Sweeney playbook, run by the brand that practically invented the provocative denim ad.
Calvin Klein Cast Jean Grey To Sell Jeans
The pun writes itself, and fans beat the brand to it.
When Calvin Klein teased a mystery woman pulling on a pair of jeans with the caption “Coming soon. Iconic as soon as she pulls them on,” viewers identified Sink almost instantly and started asking whether a jean campaign fronted by the new Jean Grey was a deliberate wink at her Marvel role.
Either way, the timing is perfect.
Brand New Day kept Sink’s character a secret until roughly halfway through the film, where she was revealed as Jean Grey, the first X-Men character recast for the MCU, and the third live-action Jean after Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner.
The campaign itself, directed and photographed by Aidan Zamiri, follows Sink through everyday scenes where slipping into her jeans sparks a shift in energy, cycling through the returning 90s Straight Jean, the Low Rise Baggy Jean, and the new High Rise Loose Jean.

“Denim has always been a staple in my wardrobe, so partnering with Calvin Klein on this campaign felt completely natural,” Sink said in the announcement. “The right pair of jeans has a way of changing how you carry yourself from the moment you put them on. Every look let me explore a different side of my style while still feeling completely like me.”

This is chapter two of a multi-part rollout: Tate McRae opened the campaign on August 25 with a dance-driven chapter set to Deee-Lite’s “Groove Is in the Heart,” and Calvin Klein says a final chapter is still to come.
Sink’s launch posts were already pulling six-figure view counts within the first hour.

The Sydney Sweeney Playbook
Last summer, American Eagle turned “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans” into the marketing story of 2025, and recently the internet exploded over her Wonder Woman photos.
The genes/jeans wordplay fueled days of internet discourse, the namesake jean sold out almost immediately, American Eagle’s stock surged, and even President Trump weighed in.

Every denim brand learned the same lesson: put a star the internet grew up watching in a pair of jeans and let the comment sections do the rest.
Calvin Klein — the house of Brooke Shields, Marky Mark, and Jeremy Allen White — has been running that play for four decades, and Sink is the smartest possible casting.

At 24, she’s a Tony nominee for John Proctor Is the Villain, she just came off the biggest superhero movie of the summer, and her Marvel run is only starting.
Sink has confirmed Jean Grey returns in Jake Schreier’s X-Men movie, while the legacy X-Men actors — Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, and more — suit up in Avengers: Doomsday this December.
Sweeney sold jeans on a pun about her genes. Calvin Klein went one better and hired the actual Jean.
