We get some tidbits on Ronan in the James Gunn-directed Guardians of the Galaxy movie from Lee Pace, the actor playing the villain role.
Lee Pace describes his character as both a psycho and a monster in the film while speaking with ClickOnline.
“He’s a f—ing psycho!” Laughs Pace. “He’s a real monster. I’ve had the best time playing this character. I’m glad its all on film and I never thought I could be so nuts in it!”
Lee Pace’s Ronan works for Thanos along with Karen Gillan’s Nebula and initially Zoe Saldana’s Gamora.
Gillan just let it be known that her own character, Nebula, is creepy and sadistic, as well.
It also recently came out that Ronan will look really cool in the movie and will be blue-colored.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy movie” has an August 1, 2014 release directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer and Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Benicio Del Toro as The Collector, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Lee Pace as Ronan, Djimon Hounsu as Korath the Pursuer, with John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey, Glen Close as Nova Prime, and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon.
