Rockne S. O’Bannon (Farscape): On Huge New Series For SYFY

Rockne S. O’Bannon, the creator behind SYFY’s Farscape, is returning to the network with a “huge new series.”

O’Bannon tweeted a couple hours ago that a meeting with SYFY went well.

“Great meeting at Syfy yesterday. New project. HUGE. New series. Very excited. Very, very excited.”

No other information is known, but it might be a safe bet to say that it is sci-fi related. At least I’m hoping so, and hope that it’s not another paranormal reality show!

With O’Bannon behind Farscape (also the comic book from Boom! Studios), having written an episode of ABC’s “V” this season (Unholy Alliance), and his credits including a number of sci-fi related shows, I think I’ll take that wager.
