Robert Downey Jr. Teases Captain America 3 Will Be Huge

[page_title]

Last week saw the as-of-yet unconfirmed rumor that Robert Downey Jr. will star in Captain America 3, which will adapt the Marvel Comics “Civil War” storyline that featured hero vs. hero in a battle over superhero registration.

Now Yahoo catches up with Robert Downey Jr. and asks the actor about those Captain America 3 rumors.

Obviously, Downey can’t say much, but if you watch the below video, he looks into the camera teasing, “It’s going to be huge.”

Captain America 3 has a May 6, 2016 release also starring Chris Evans. If the Civil War rumors are legit, it will feature Captain America vs. Iron Man, lead into The Avengers 4 and set up the next seven years worth of Marvel Studios movies. Some fans are even speculating the use of Civil War is also the reason why there has been so many Spider-Man returning to Marvel Studios rumors as of late, as in the comics, Spider-Man was instrumental to the Civil War comic.

Robert Downey Jr. can next be seen in The Avengers 2, out May 1, 2015.
