Resident Evil 5 3-D Movie Announced

Sony Pictures has announced the fifth installment to the video game turned movie franchise with “Resident Evil 5” due out September 14th, 2012.

RE5 will also be in 3-D.

As of now, there is no subtitle to the movie – as all the previous flicks had a name associated.

Resident Evil 5 is said to star Milla Jovovich and to shoot in Toronto according to earlier reports.

Jovovich starred in the 2010 Resident Evil: Afterlife which cost around $60 million to make and grossed close to $300 million worldwide.
