Now this is a bold move from Fox Studios and director Bryan Singer.
Singer just tweeted that Quicksilver will be a part of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

As you may know, Joss Whedon recently revealed that both Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch would be featured in The Avengers 2.
Why they can be featured in both of the movies is because Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are considered an “Avenger” and an “X-Men,” so the studios in essence can share the characters, though it has been said that Marvel Studios won’t be mentioning the mutant aspects of the brother/sister team.
Looks like Fox Studios and Bryan Singer have trumped Joss Whedon as X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for a July 2014 release, with The Avengers 2 having a May 2015 release.
There is another possibility: And that is that it’s the beginning of a shared studio movie universe.
Evan Peters is known for American: Horror Story on FX.
X-Men: Days of Future Past has a July 14, 2014 release date starring Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, ShawnAshmore, with Hugh Jackman reprising as Wolverine, and returning cast members Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan.
