Just in case if you were wondering whether or not Quentin Tarantino would be directing the new Star Wars Episode VII movie slated for 2015, you can rest easy – or be disappointed – your call.

Seems Tarantino isn’t too keen on the idea that Disney is going to be doing Star Wars. The director was asked at last night’s Britannia Awards at the Beverly Hilton hotel by EW if he would be interested and it was a big “no.”

“I could so care less,” Tarantino said. And when asked of he’s a fan? “No, sorry. Especially if Disney’s going to do it. I’m not interested in the Simon West version of Star Wars.”

Two names rumored to direct Star Wars include Matthew Vaughn as well as indie filmmaker Colin Trevorrow.

Tarantinto recently released The Man With The Iron Fist, and you can check out our review right here.
