Hollywood’s attack on white people continues as the latest sees Peter Dinklage blaming them for the backlash surrounding the ending of HBO’s Game of Thrones.

Dinklage addressed the backlash recently while speaking to The New York Times and said fans wanted to see the “pretty white people ride off into the sunset,” but when they didn’t get that, they weren’t happy.

“They wanted the pretty white people to ride off into the sunset together,” Dinklage said. “By the way, it’s fiction. There’s dragons in it. Move on.”

Dinklage’s condescension didn’t stop there as he explained the fans didn’t get what the show was really about and that he was happy with what happened at the end that upset a lot of the fans.

“No, but the show subverts what you think, and that’s what I love about it. Yeah, it was called Game of Thrones, but at the end, the whole dialogue when people would approach me on the street was, ‘Who’s going to be on the throne?’ I don’t know why that was their takeaway because the show really was more than that,” said Dinklage. “One of my favorite moments was when the dragon burned the throne because it sort of just killed that whole conversation, which is really irreverent and kind of brilliant on behalf of the show’s creators: ‘Shut up, it’s not about that,’ “he said. “They constantly did that, where you thought one thing and they delivered another. Everybody had their own stories going on while watching that show, but nobody’s was as good as what the show delivered, I think.”

White people are bad according to Hollywood (particularly white males)

Dinklage continued his mockery of the fans by commenting about their Sunday nights.

“I think the reason there was some backlash about the ending is because they were angry at us for breaking up with them,” he said. “We were going off the air and they didn’t know what to do with their Sunday nights anymore. They wanted more, so they backlashed about that. We had to end when we did, because what the show was really good at was breaking preconceived notions: Villains became heroes, and heroes became villains.”

Fans have reacted on social media noting it was nothing about white people but wanting a quality ending to a show they invested their time in.

Hollywood attacks white people

Regarding Hollywood attacking white people, Disney executives haven’t been quiet they pass on good ideas about white people because they are about white people, and Marvel’s Kevin Feige has publicly stated they kept Benedict Cumberbatch and Doctor Strange out of the Disney Plus WandaVision show because he is a white male, and Feige’s Black Widow movie that tanked at the box office and resulted in a multi-million dollar lawsuit loss for Disney also didn’t feature any of the Avengers because they are white males. We can also add Ghostbusters 2016, Disney Star Wars, Doctor Who, Brie Larson and Captain Marvel, etc.
