Disney+ dropped a new trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 as part of its D23 blitz, giving fans their best look yet at the show’s take on The Titan’s Curse.
The trailer runs nearly two minutes, a big step up from the 30-second teaser that debuted at San Diego Comic-Con last month alongside the season’s November 20 premiere date.
The official synopsis:
If Percy Jackson learned anything after completing two epic quests with Annabeth Chase, it’s that he would be lost without her. So when Annabeth is captured by the forces of Kronos, Percy must embark on a perilous journey to rescue her. He must free a goddess in chains, confront the Titan’s curse, and avoid triggering the fall of Olympus. With Grover by his side, Percy must join some unlikely questmates to confront a prophecy with dire consequences.
The Titan’s Curse Comes To Disney+
Season 3 adapts the third book in Rick Riordan’s series, sending Walker Scobell’s Percy on a rescue mission after Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) is taken, with the goddess in chains being Artemis, played by Dafne Keen.
Holt McCallany plays the Titan Atlas, while newcomers this season include Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite, Ming-Na Wen as Hera, and the debuts of fan favorites Nico and Bianca di Angelo along with Zoe Nightshade.
Scobell has called it the show’s darkest season yet, and the source material backs that up, as The Titan’s Curse is where Riordan’s saga takes a serious turn.
A Fast Turnaround For Season 3
Disney+ is moving quicker this time. Two years separated Season 1 in December 2023 and Season 2 in December 2025, but Season 3 arrives less than a year after its predecessor.
The eight-episode season kicks off with the parking garage battle that screened at Comic-Con, introducing Tamara Smart’s Thalia Grace into the mix.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 premieres Friday, November 20 on Disney+.
