Oscars 2011: Mark Ruffalo on The Avengers (2012) and the Hulk

At the Oscars, MTV caught up with one of the stars in The Avengers, Mark Ruffalo, who is set to portray Dr. Bruce Banner/the Incredible Hulk. Ruffalo was up for Best Supporting Actor, along with fellow The Avengers actor Jeremy Renner, which was won by Christian Bale.

In a previous interview, Ruffalo confirmed that he will be the first actor to play the Green Goliath.

Here, Ruffalo again mentions playing the Hulk informing us that Banner and the Hulk have about equal parts in the movie.

He goes on to inform that, "There's some great Bruce Banner stuff, kind of a slant on him that we haven't seen before. He's introduced in a really great way."

The Avengers is set to assemble in theaters May 4th 2012 starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson and Mark Ruffalo.
