It seems a given that the original actors – Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford – are returning in 2015 with J.J. Abrams for Star Wars Episode VII, right?
We’ve already heard inklings from Hamill, who has already been said to be training for the role, and from Fisher, who says she is on board. In addition, it was also said that Ford was already cast.
Hold on a minute as now Harrison Ford seems unsure if he will be returning for Star Wars: Episode VII.
Appearing on the Graham Norton Show, which also had Benedict Cumberbatch as a guest (also rumored for Star Wars: Episode VII), Harrison Ford stated he hasn’t yet decided if he will be in the new movie, according to the UK’s Metro.
Ford has been mum on the subject in recent interviews including telling USA Today he had “nothing to say about that” when questioned about Star Wars. Ford also hasn’t been answering questions on various talks shows, but did have fun with it at least on Jimmy Kimmel.
It could be that Harrison Ford is dodging Star Wars questions because he wants to focus on his latest movie, Ender’s Game, as well as that Disney and Abrams aren’t just ready yet to make the announcement.
At least hopefully that’s the case.
Update: Video has surfaced shedding a new light on Harrison Ford’s statements.
