NBC cancels The Event; may get picked up by Netflix

pic Another one that’s not a big surprise.

NBC has canceled the alien sci-fi show The Event after one season.

Yeah, it was pretty bad.

Law and Order: Los Angeles was also adios’d.

We heard about Wonder Woman’s early demise before, as well.

I’m waiting to hear on ABC’s “V” – hope that gets another shot (it won’t).

Update 7:54pm EST: Deadline reports The Event may get picked up by Netflix who is going to add original programming at some point in the future. They also state other cable and digital networks are interested.
