UPDATE 2: Uslan revealed the news on Facebook. He’s speaking at a Wayne Manor event for the Tournament of Roses, the Pasadena group behind the Rose Parade and the Rose Bowl Game.
“I’ll be speaking at a sold-out Tournament of Roses event on November 2 at stately Wayne Manor in Pasadena! ‘Holy _____!’ (fill in the blank),” Uslan wrote.
UPDATE: Uslan cleared things up in the comments of his Facebook post. The news is about a possible event at Wayne Manor.
“Nononono! This ‘maybe’ has nothing to do with Media or me buying the house, sadly. It has to do with a possible event that will maybe be taking place there,” Uslan wrote.
Michael Uslan, the producer behind every Batman movie since 1989, posted a photo of Wayne Manor on Facebook Wednesday with a message for fans.
“Stay tuned for, perhaps, breaking news soon…” Uslan wrote.
That’s it. No other details.
The photo shows the real-life Wayne Manor, the Pasadena mansion used for the exterior shots of stately Wayne Manor in the 1960s Batman television series starring Adam West.
Uslan is the producer who bought the film rights to Batman back in 1979 with his late partner Benjamin Melniker. His name has been on every Batman movie since Tim Burton’s 1989 original, including Joker, The Batman, and the upcoming Clayface.
So when he teases breaking news with a picture of Wayne Manor, Batman fans pay attention.
The timing doesn’t hurt either, with the Paramount and Warner Bros. merger set to close by early October.
The Adam West Wayne Manor Is Listed For $32 Million
The mansion in Uslan’s photo went up for sale over the summer.
Deadline reported in July that the estate is listed for $32 million, which would break the record for the most expensive home ever sold in Pasadena. The house set the current record itself when it sold for $20.5 million in 2025. Back in 1999, it went for $4.4 million.
Built in 1928, the manor sits on nearly five acres with a pool, a private theater, and a pickleball court. No Batcave, though. The show only used the house for exteriors, and the Wayne Manor interiors were built on soundstages.
The Adam West series also turns 60 this year. It premiered on ABC in January of 1966.
So what is the breaking news? Uslan isn’t saying. It could be about the house itself. It could be something bigger.

Uslan’s Other Posts: Clayface, Keaton’s Batman, And Constantine
Uslan’s Facebook feed has been all DC this week.
Hours before the Wayne Manor tease, he shared a poster for Clayface, the DC Studios horror movie he executive produces that opens only in theaters on October 23.
He also posted Batman poster art featuring Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, and Kim Basinger from the 1989 movie that started it all.
Earlier this month, Uslan asked fans to help him get a Batman 1989 behind-the-scenes book made.
On Tuesday, Uslan announced Constantine returns to Regal theaters nationwide on October 26, 21 years after it opened, and pointed fans to a video about the possibility of Constantine 2. Uslan and Melniker are credited producers on the 2005 Keanu Reeves movie as well.
The Constantine date adds to the re-release wave, which insiders recently told us means “plenty more to come from all studios.”
Uslan’s upcoming slate also includes The Batman Part II, which the studio expects to be a mega hit, and the animated Dynamic Duo.
Whatever the breaking news is, stay tuned.
