The complete Marvel Studios panel from Friday night’s Disney Entertainment Showcase at D23 is now online courtesy of The Brandon Davis Show.
The 12-minute video captures Kevin Feige’s full presentation from inside the arena in Anaheim, including the VisionQuest trailer debut, new Avengers: Doomsday footage, and the X-Men cast reveal.
Details below.
Adam Driver Trolls With Magneto Before The Sinister Tease
The must-watch moment is Adam Driver’s taped message, beamed in from an empty soundstage at Pinewood Studios.
Driver says he and Feige have talked for years about him joining the MCU and finally found the perfect film at the perfect time. Then comes the troll: “I’m very excited to be playing the role of Magneto.”
He immediately corrects himself. Even better: Nathaniel Milbury.
As we covered in the cast reveal, Milbury is a longtime alias of Mister Sinister, so Driver announced the movie’s villain while pretending he didn’t.
The gag closes with Driver explaining he assumed the cast had already met on set, so instead of joining everyone in California, he’s alone on the empty stage. “I’ll be right here. Just waiting for everybody to show up.”

VisionQuest Starts The Show
Feige opened with Marvel Television, framing VisionQuest as the capper to the trilogy that began with WandaVision and ran through Agatha All Along.
Paul Bettany and James Spader joined him on stage, with Bettany joking that Vision has “rather inconveniently died several times,” which makes long-term financial planning difficult for an actor.
The full trailer breakdown is here, following the first look at Spader’s human Ultron from the show floor.

Doomsday: Jackman’s Video And Doom’s Footage
Feige teased that Avengers: Doomsday unites the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the original X-Men on screen for the first time, with a cast of “literally everyone except Wolverine.”
That was the cue for Hugh Jackman’s surprise video, with Deadpool heckling off screen. Jackman and Reynolds have since posted the clip themselves with matching “hostage video” captions. Deadline, meanwhile, reads the beam-in as a sign Jackman isn’t coming back as Wolverine for the X-Men reboot.
Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, and Robert Downey Jr. then hit the stage, with Feige introducing Downey not as the man who launched the cinematic universe but as the man who might end it all, before rolling the new Special Look. Atwell has since gone public with her frustration over Captain Carter’s last MCU appearance, calling the Doctor Strange 2 death “a complete disservice to the character.”

Sadie Sink’s Handoff From Spider-Man To X-Men
Feige noted Marvel waited until Spider-Man: Brand New Day hit theaters to talk about Sadie Sink’s character, then brought her out to say the words: “We’re not actually here to talk about Spider-Man. We’re here to talk about the X-Men.”
Director Jake Schreier followed, and the new team assembled on stage, having met backstage for the very first time moments earlier. The full cast rundown is here.
We also have full profiles on every new X-Man: Sadie Sink’s Jean Grey, Kit Connor’s Cyclops, Christopher Abbott’s Professor X, Samara Weaving’s Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette’s Rogue, Maya Boyd’s Storm, and Adam Driver’s Nathaniel Milbury.
VisionQuest premieres October 14 on Disney+. Avengers: Doomsday opens December 18, and for everything we know, head on over to our hub.
