Last night saw what the world was waiting for.
No, not The Dark Knight Rises!
But Henry Cavill flying on the big screen as Superman in the new Man of Steel trailer!
And there were two different versions!
One of the trailers is narrated by as Russel Crowe as Jor-El, and the other by Kevin Costner, Jonathan Kent.
And this isn’t the same as shown at Comic-Con, though the footage is the same, just cut.
The main difference between the Comic-Con footage and The Dark Knight Rises is the music score, of which the former was better IMO, as they used Hans Zimmer’s score from The Thin Red Line.
I’ll say the trailers are online to view, but we here at Cosmic Book News will have our site shut down for 4+ hours by Warner Bros. and our server, Godaddy, if we put it up.
Regarding when the Man of Steel trailer will officially make its way online, we’ve heard that it might be some time as, according to reports, WB has decided to delay the Man of Steel trailer online release.
The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christian Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Cain as Alfred, Juno Temple and Josh Pence as a young Ra’s al Ghul.
