UPDATE: We’re told the positive Superman buzz is no coincidence, and that Corenswet’s future as Superman rides on Man of Tomorrow making money.
A new Man of Tomorrow rumor says David Corenswet’s Superman wears more than one suit in the sequel, and one of them is a space suit.
“feeling nice so little scoop is that superman has multiple suits in man of tomorrow including a space suit,” posted X user juan on September 25.
Asked if that means the updated regular suit plus the space one, or something more, juan answered, “maybe, maybe not.”
Another fan asked if it looks better than the suit from 2025’s Superman. “good question, but no clue,” juan said.
He also teased where this could go on screen: “now you know why i said the shirt reveal can possibly happen.”
That would be the classic Clark Kent moment, ripping open the button-down to show the S underneath.
“You’ve been holding this one for a while lmfao,” replied Doom’s Servant. “i sure have,” said juan.

Doom’s Servant Shared The Same Thing In July
This one comes with a receipt.
Doom’s Servant backed up the claim, posting, “Juan knew about this… glad he finally scooped it.”
Doom’s Servant said on July 15, weeks before filming wrapped: “The Superman suit we’ve seen on the set of mot is not the only suit he wears.”
Doom’s Servant is the same scooper who first leaked Marvel’s Zodiac spy series, which The Hollywood Reporter confirmed had been greenlit on September 22.

Why Would Superman Need A Space Suit?
Fans immediately asked the obvious question, since Superman flying through space unaided is a given for a lot of readers (Supergirl didn’t need a space suit in her movie, well, other than when she flew over from Krypton, but Clark was a baby when he came over).
Juan says don’t take it too literally: “taking it too literal new suits = new toys to market for the film this happens a lot, i don’t even think he gets it for the reason of breathing,” he posted.
The comics have gone back and forth on this exact point.
The classic Superman needed no help. He flew through deep space just fine.
John Byrne’s 1986 reboot scaled his powers down. That Superman had to hold his breath in space, and during the 1989 “Exile” story he carried oxygen gear and had to stop to refill it.
S.T.A.R. Labs even built him a space suit in that era, and Superman: The Animated Series made the white version of it famous.
Later comics let him hold his breath far longer, and the gear went away.
There is also an easy story reason this time: the sequel’s villain is Brainiac, the alien android played by Lars Eidinger, so a fight away from Earth would fit.
The rumor lands on a growing pile pointing at a bigger sequel.
A September 12 rumor claimed the tone is closer to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 than to 2025’s Superman, and Corenswet himself told ET the characters are “a little more mature” and go “a little bit deeper,” teasing Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor war suit.
As for the main suit, set photos already showed a revised costume, and James Gunn is holding back the official reveal.
Man of Tomorrow opens in theaters on July 9, 2027. Everything we know about the film is here.
