James Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow is shaping up to be a much bigger swing than Superman, at least that is what new rumors claim.
The new rumors claim the sequel’s tone is much more mature, denser, and more epic than the first film, and the comparison they use is that it’s closer to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 than to 2025’s Superman.
The report comes from a Brazilian fan Instagram account, which posted a rundown of Man of Tomorrow details they claim they heard.
Gunn Studied The Superman Criticisms And Changed Cinematographers
Per the rumors, Gunn researched the negative criticisms of the first movie and set out to fix the problem areas.
The change in cinematographer is said to be a result of that, with the sequel featuring improved cinematography over the first film.
The report also calls Man of Tomorrow the DCU’s first event movie, the big crossover between the Superman, Supergirl, and Lanterns productions.
Adria Arjona Beat Eva De Dominici For Wonder Woman
The report backs up what CBN has been saying about Adria Arjona.
Arjona and Eva De Dominici were reportedly the two finalists in screen tests for Maxima, and those tests were secretly for Wonder Woman.
“Adria Arjona IS Wonder Woman,” states the IG user (translated from Portuguese).
CBN insiders told us the same thing on June 28: the role is Wonder Woman. Those are the sources who had Hal Jordan’s Lanterns death five months before the episode aired.
On August 12, the same sources said the appearance is more of a cameo, and Arjona confirmed she shot her scenes in the final weeks before the film wrapped on August 26.
Arjona herself told Josh Horowitz on September 7 she’s “sworn to secrecy” and took his $500 bet that she’s playing Wonder Woman.
She also said she knew the role when she auditioned, which fits, if the “Maxima” tests were really for Wonder Woman all along.
Brainiac “Terrifying,” John Stewart Suit “Comic-Accurate”

Brainiac’s look was described to him as “terrifying,” with a design meant to genuinely scare general audiences.
John Stewart has a substantial role in the story, complete with a suit described as “comic-accurate.”
There’s an action scene where Lex Luthor gets into a prison fight, with Nicholas Hoult shirtless and showing off Luthor’s physique.
Captain Atom is said to appear receiving some kind of medal, though the bigger context hasn’t been revealed.
And there’s a shot of Clark helping his father, Jonathan Kent, who is in a wheelchair in one scene.
