Loki Has Big Role In Avengers: Doomsday Leak, Not “Small”

Tom Hiddleston’s Loki looks to have a much bigger role in Avengers: Doomsday than recent reports suggested, at least according to the alleged plot leak making the rounds.

Back in February, scooper Daniel Richtman claimed Loki would only have a “small” part in the movie, which came as discouraging news for fans following the character’s transformation into the God of Stories in the Loki Season 2 finale, where he was left holding the multiverse’s timelines together.

The leak tells a different story.

What The Leak Says About Loki

Warning: light spoilers for the alleged Avengers: Doomsday leak follow.

According to the alleged full plot description — which John Campea says is “now out there” and matches what insiders have heard — Loki factors into the story across multiple major beats, picking up directly from where the Season 2 finale left him, with his God of Stories status central to the plot.

We’ll keep the specifics out of it, but “small part” is not how anyone would describe what the leak lays out, Loki’s role reportedly includes some of the story’s biggest dramatic moments.

Notably, the leak also aligns with earlier insider claims: Richtman himself previously said Hiddleston filmed a scene set at Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s home, while scooper MyTimetoShineHello claimed Loki and Steve share important scenes in the movie.

Both claims match what the leaked plot describes, adding another layer of corroboration to the leak’s legitimacy.

Hiddleston: “It Just Has Never Been Done Before”

Hiddleston’s own comments now read a little differently in light of the leak.

In a December GQ cover story, the actor — who said he had finished filming his Doomsday scenes — called the movie “monumental” and praised the story’s core as brilliant and surprising, saying it’s something that has never been done before.

Hiddleston also confirmed his character picks up from the “glorious purpose” he found at the end of Loki Season 2, which is exactly where the leak places him.

As always, Marvel Studios has not commented on the leak, so treat the details as rumor.

The Russo Brothers’ Avengers: Doomsday, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, hits theaters December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027.
