Lex Luthor Man of Steel Rumor/Spoiler Bomb #2 Lands Online

It’s still up in the air whether or not Lex Luthor is exactly in the Man of Steel, but the possibility seems to be getting stronger.

We recently heard from Man of Steel writer David Goyer who wouldn’t deny or confirm the inclusion of Superman’s arch-nemesis.

Then a rumor came out that stated Mackenzie Gray could possibly be Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel with a video of the actor admitting he has a role in the movie.

Now we get further confirmation of the involvement of Mackenzie Gray and it’s said to be a “big role.”

An image of Mackenzie Gray has surfaced with a friend, AdaPia d’Errico, who is described as a Creative Brand Strategist who works with actors and such.

She included the photo on her blog with an interesting caption (via GoodBadMovies):

I don’t often get to dress for nights out like this one! With my friend and Vancouver actor extraordinaire (and in the upcoming 2013 Man of Steel with a big role), Mackenzie Gray, at the Vancouver Fashion Week Opening Gala.

Now, it could be that she just considers any role in the Man of Steel “big” as it’s a “big” movie, but it’s still an interesting statement.

So is Mackenzie Gray Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel?

None of the advanced screenings that came out reported on it, with one only said to have Lex at the end as a cameo.

There is another possibility.

Gray in the aforementioned video stated that he is playing a “what” in the Man of Steel, not a “who.”

Braniac is rumored for the Man of Steel as well.
