Yesterday news surfaced about an episode title for the second season of Arrow with the fifth said to be named “The Demon’s Head.”

Comic books fans should recognize that to be the translation of the Batman villain name, Ra’s al Ghul.

Turns out the title is incorrect as Mark Guggenheim took to his Twitter to clear the air, but in doing so actually made things a little clearer.

The League Of Assassins was most recently featured in the Christopher Nolan Batman movies, known as the League of Shadows with Liam Neeson playing Ra’s al Ghul, and now we see they show up in the Arrow TV series.

The previous rumor also mentioned something about a Dark Archer featured in the episode trained by Merlyn (John Barrowman).

Of course, the creators of Arrow could just be having a little fun with the episode title being “League Of Assassins,” but we hope not.

We also previously speculated that similar to the movies, comic books and video games, WB will be giving their TV shows a similar Batman-central focus.

Season Two of Arrow debuts Wednesday, October 9th at 8pm ET on the CW.
