We get an update from Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige about the Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man and Doctor Strange.

While promoting Thor 2, Kevin Feige offers to IGN that he doesn’t know if the Guardians of the Galaxy will interact with The Avengers anytime soon. It’s “more about introducing a whole new team on the other side of the universe.” He does offer the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer could hit by the end of the year or early next year.

Regarding Ant-Man, Feige says that cast announcements should be coming by the end of the year.  He also says that Ant-Man won’t be just a comedy, but will be very “Edgar Wright” with Wright previously pitching it as a heist film. “The Heist genre in Ant-Man is exciting to us,” Feige said.

Feige continues with an update about Doctor Strange of sorts as well. While he doesn’t confirm Doctor Strange is in development, he states that the supernatural side of Marvel, which they haven’t approached as of yet, is something they are definitely looking at. Might be worth a note that Thor 2 director Alan Taylor seems to have a big smile on his face during that line of questioning.
