J.R. Ramirez Cast As Wildcat For Arrow Season 3

Following confirmation that Wildcat will be featured in Season 3 of Arrow at Comic-Con, it’s now learned that J.R. Ramirez has been cast in the role.

According to Deadline, Ramirez has been cast as Ted Grant, aka Wildcat, in what could become a recurring role.

The description for Ted Grant in Arrow is stated as:

Ted Grant will be a former boxer who now runs a gym for underprivileged youth. A man with a mysterious past, he will play a pivotal role in Laurel Lance’s arc this season. 

In addition to Wildcat, Ra’s al Ghul has been confirmed in Season 3 of Arrow as well, with the actor currently unknown.

The CW recently released a special trailer featuring a first look at Ra’s al Ghul.

Arrow premiers Wednesday, October 8th at 8pm ET.

Season 3 synopsis:

In the aftermath of this victory, Season Three opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizensof Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow.
