Josh Allen has a new job title heading into the 2026 season, and this one has nothing to do with reading defenses: CEO.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback has launched Out of Pocket Studios, his own media company backing entertainment projects, commercials, and live fan experiences, via Variety.
Allen serves as chief executive and will take an executive producer credit on everything the company makes.
Out of Pocket grows out of the deal Allen signed with Skydance Sports, part of Paramount Skydance, back in January 2025.
Running the day-to-day operation is Lindsey Cohen, president of strategy and operations. Cohen previously worked at Meadowlark Media and DAZN after beginning her career at CAA — the agency that represents both Allen and the new company.
“Skydance Sports has given me a platform to turn the ideas I care most about into something real,” Allen said in a statement. “We’re excited to share what Out of Pocket Studios has created so far, and for everyone to see what we’re building from here.”

The project that will hit closest to home in Western New York is “The Buffalo Miracle,” a documentary from two-time Oscar winner Ben Proudfoot about the Buffalo McDonald’s manager who opened his restaurant to stranded neighbors on Christmas Eve during the deadly blizzard that buried the region in December 2022.
Proudfoot’s Breakwater Studios produces alongside Skydance Sports.
First on the calendar, however, is “America’s Tailgate,” a music-and-celebrity special airing Labor Day, September 7, on CBS.
CBS Mornings‘ Nate Burleson hosts alongside co-host Melanie Collins and correspondent Whitney Cummings, with Allen also appearing in the special. EverWonder Studio and Lost Tribe Studio produce with Skydance Sports.
Two days later, “NFL Play Action” premieres September 9 on Paramount+.
The weekly studio show pairs Kyle Brandt with Peloton star Ally Love for a look at where football crosses into the rest of the culture. New episodes stream Wednesdays throughout the season, with the show designed to be watched by the whole family.
Allen also has a comedy series he came up with that has already been sold, with more projects lined up behind it.
Allen launches NFL Play Action from Highmark Stadium
Fittingly, Allen filmed the announcement promo for “NFL Play Action” from the field at Highmark Stadium.
“What’s up guys, Josh Allen here. The NFL is back, which means football is officially in the air,” Allen says in the spot. “I’m even more pumped than usual this season because I’m bringing you our brand new show, NFL Play Action. It’s where football meets culture and we go deep every week. Great guests, real access, and a side of the game you don’t always get to see.”
On Paramount+’s Instagram post announcing the show, Love jumped into the comments with “HERE WE GOOOOO,” while fans were already calling for a Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift sit-down during season one.
Between launching his own studio, producing a new NFL show, and marrying Marvel star Hailee Steinfeld last year, Allen’s Hollywood résumé keeps getting longer.
There’s still one credit Bills fans want him to add more than any other.
