Jon Chu To Direct G.I. Joe 2

Deadline reports that Paramount Pictures has named Jon Chu to direct G.I. Joe 2 with Lorenzo di Bonaventura on as producer.

Chu just finished on Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.

A quick look at Chu’s IMBD doesn’t seem to show any action flicks similar to G.I.Joe. Let’s just hope the Canadian pop-star doesn’t have a role!

G.I. Joe 2 is scheduled to begin shooting this fall and they are currently deciding which cast memebers to bring back.

Reportedly, Channing Tatum (Duke), is being brought back. The actor did say the movie studio is happy with the script.
