J.M. DeMatteis writer behind tonight’s Thundercats: episode 4 “Song Of Petalars”

Legendary creator, J.M. DeMatteis, informed everyone via twitter that he is the writer behind tonight’s episode of Thundercats, “Song Of Petalars.”

“gentle reminder: The first of my ThunderCats episodes airs tonight at 8:30/7:30c on Cartoon Network.”

DeMatteis’ recent comic book credits include a run on DC Comics’ Booster Gold with Keith Giffen, as well as some Spider-Man stories for Marvel.

He is also no stranger to the world of animation, as DeMatteis has penned episodes of The Real Ghostbusters, Justice League Unlimited, Legion of Super-Heroes, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien and Sym-Bionic Titan.

Thundercats airs on the Cartoon Network Fridays at 8:30pm ET.
