Jim Starlin Returning To Marvel: Right In Time For Guardians of the Galaxy Movie

Good news cosmic fans, Jim Starlin will be returning to Marvel as he is already working on a new project.

Starlin attended the recent Nashville Comics & Horror Festival where the creator of Thanos announced the news.

And Starlin also says it will be right in time for next year’s August release of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, though makes it a point of stating it could be unrelated.

“It will be out some time next year,” Starlin said, Digital Spy reports. “Early next year I imagine, maybe in time for the Guardians movie.”

“Not that I’m saying there’s anything that would tie into the Guardians movie,” Starlin continued. “Don’t get me in trouble with the contract.”

According to the report, Jim Starlin already has 6 pages done, of which he both wrote and did the art.

Tom Brevoort is also editing the project.
