[[wysiwyg_imageupload:4122:]]Holy D’ast!
Check this out!
Previously Guardians of the Galaxy movie director James Gunn was having a little fun and posted a couple pics teasing the Guardians of the Galaxy. One was with the Guardians of the Galaxy actions figures and the other was of a raccoon.
Now, here’s the latest — and it sure looks like Cosmo (below)!
Gunn posted:
So @VonSpears & I are going on a little trip. Here’s what he’s wearing.
Fans of the Guardians of the Galaxy comic book should be able to see the resemblance to the psychic Russian canine that heads up security at Knowhere, the base of operations for the Guardians of the Galaxy, which is a severed Celestial head floating in space.
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:4123:]]Cosmo made his first appearance in Nova #8 and has gone on to become a big-time fan-favorite character. And as he is a “dog” he gets into a lot of arguments with – who else – Rocket Raccoon! Made for some great fun in the books.
Could we see Cosmo in the new movie? Or even Knowhere?!
Speaking of DnA, Gunn also seemed to hint that he supports their costumes for the movie. We can hope!
The Guardians of the Galaxy movie opens August 1, 2014 directed by James Gunn.
