The more and more we are hearing about James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie, the better it sounds.
The latest is an unconfirmed report that Gunn will feature Knowhere as the base of operations in the movie for the Guardians, which enables them to teleport from location to location.
Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning used Knowhere in their 2008 Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel comic book and sister title Nova, both of which the publisher cancelled for some unknown reason, with Knowhere actually being a severed head of a Celestial in orbit near The Rip.
With the forthcoming movie, there has been talk amongst Marvel fans about which Guardians comic book stories to read, and Cosmic Book News would suggest the 2008 DnA run.
There is also the classic original run which is sort of similar to Avengers, as both Captain America and Vance Astro are men finding themselves out of their timelines trying to save the Earth and such.
It’s also said Ronan and Thanos will be featured in the movie, as previously rumored.
With Knowhere featured can the head of security, the psychic Russian dog, Cosmo, be far behind?
Regarding Captain America 2, a report states that the movie will be more of a sequel to The Avengers and a lead in to The Avengers 2, with more on the back story of Black Widow.
