Here is a new image of Martin Freeman as Bilbo standing alongside the Dwarves, played by William Kircher, Graham McTavish, James Nesbitt and John Callen, in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters December 14th, 2012 with the sequel, The Hobbit: There And Back, a year later on December 13th, 2013. 

Ian McKellen returns as Gandalf the Grey with Martin Freeman playing Bilbo Baggins.  

Also reprising their roles from “The Lord of the Rings” movies are: Cate Blanchett as Galadriel; Orlando Bloom as Legolas; Ian Holm as the elder Bilbo; Christopher Lee as Saruman; Hugo Weaving as Elrond; Elijah Wood as Frodo; and Andy Serkis as Gollum.
