The Hobbit (2012): First Clip Now Online: Here Comes Sting!

Warner Bros. has released the first clip for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit where we see Bilbo getting Sting, the orc slayer, the sword that glows blue whenever orcs are near by!

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters December 14th, 2012 with the sequel, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, a year later on December 13th, 2013, followed by The Hobbit: There And Back Again on July 18th, 2014.

Ian McKellen returns as Gandalf the Grey with Martin Freeman playing Bilbo Baggins.  

Also reprising their roles from “The Lord of the Rings” movies are: Cate Blanchett as Galadriel; Orlando Bloom as Legolas; Ian Holm as the elder Bilbo; Christopher Lee as Saruman; Hugo Weaving as Elrond; Elijah Wood as Frodo; and Andy Serkis as Gollum.
