Preview Trailer: Green Lantern Movie #1 Released

Yahoo Movies has the the first trailer up to the Green Lantern Movie that was shown earlier today on Enterainment Tonight.

This video shows the CGI costume of Hal Jordan a bit more clearly revealing Ryan Reynolds’ muscular definition including muscle striations – or the appearance of. Sure to cause even further controversy among fans. (In my opinion, it’s a bit too much.)

Cosmic Book News revealed a first look at concept art of Kilowog, the Green Lantern Corps Drill Sargeant. Here we see Kilowog trying to sniff out the fear from the Lantern’s Corp newest recruit, Hal Jordan!

We also see Hector Hammond being played by Peter Sarsgaard as the villain in this first movie, Blake Lively plays Carol Ferris – Jordan’s love interest, members of the Green Lantern Corps and Oa, Sinestro being played by Mark Strong and Abin Sur by Temuera Morrison is seen giving Hal the Green Lantern ring – sure to add to the controversy by how it looks.

The Green Lantern Movie opens in theaters June 17th, 2011!
